* - As a citizen of Australia you are eligible to work in public service and in the armed forces, as well as to serve on juries.
* - Being an Australian citizen you can choose to vote at Commonwealth, State and Territory elections and referendums. You can also stand for election at Commonwealth,  State or Territory level.
